  1. Make sure you change the direction of airflow on your ceiling fan. It the winter, change your fan’s direction to run clockwise, drawing cooler air up and allowing warmer air to be pushed towards the floor.

  2. Put down a rug to help insulate your floors.

  3. Put on a sweater and lower your thermostat to reduce your overall consumption.
