WRREA Donates to Manola Community Cemetery

On April 22, 2022 Donna Phillips (Secretary for the Manola Community Cemetery) was presented with a $500.00 Rural Roots Award cheque by the Wild Rose REA Customer Service Manager, Kayla St.Pierre.


Manola Community Cemetery:

The cemetery is located in the County of Barrhead, near the hamlet of Manola. This cemetery was established in the early 1900's and is comprised of volunteers from the local community who have homesteaded in the area for many years. There are currently many multigenerational families involved in the operation and upkeep of this cemetery.
