As we come out of a cold snap, have you thought about how much energy your space heater really uses?

By using this simple formula, you can calculate the approximate consumption of your space heater.

Watts / 1000 x Hours x Days in Month= kWh

1500 / 1000 x 24 x 31 = 1116 kWh

If you had the above noted space heater plugged in, running for 24 hours a day, for 31 days in a row, it would cause an overall increase in your consumption by 1,116 kwh, which could equate to $221.71 in just one billing cycle.
