Using an outdoor grill to cook food in the summer is an excellent way to save energy.

Using your outdoor grill (or even a fire pit) means you don’t have to turn your oven or stove top on so they won’t be drawing any power!

With your appliances off, your kitchen stays cooler, which in turn means your refrigerator and your air conditioner do not have to work as hard.

By cooking outdoors you will reduce your overall kitchen energy consumption.
