The cold weather during the winter season typically contributes to higher energy consumption usage as people spend more time indoors. Not only do people spend more time indoors using appliances, lights and electronics but your furnace also runs more frequently to warm your home.


In addition to this, items such as space heaters and block heaters draw high amounts of consumption while in use.
