Winter is here in full effect, and you may be thinking about plugging in space heaters in your home or outbuildings.

Have you ever wondered how much power your space heater really uses?

By using this simple formula, you can calculate the approximate consumption of your space heater.

Watts / 1000 x Hours x Days in Month= kWh

1500 / 1000 x 24 x 31 = 1116 kWh

If you have a space heater plugged in for 24 hours a day, for 31 days in a row, it would cause an overall increase in your consumption by 1,116 kwh.
