Access to Transformer Poles
In order to perform maintenance or emergency service work, our linemen require access to the transformer pole. Our linemen climb utility poles at all hours of the day, often in harsh weather conditions. Having safe and unobstructed access to a transformer pole is necessary for maintenance and emergency service work. As we move into fall, and the inevitable colder weather, have you ever wondered how much power your space heater really uses? By using this simple formula, you can calculate the approximate consumption of your space heater. Watts / 1000 x Hours x Days in Month= kWh 1500 / 1000 x 24 x 31 = 1116 kWh If you had the above noted space heater plugged in, running for 24 hours a day, for 31 days in a row, it would cause an overall increase in your consumption by 1,116 kwh.

Do You Know What To Do In The Event of A Power Outage?
In the event of a power outage, one of the first things you should do, is check your breaker at the transformer pole to ensure it is UP and in the ON position. The breaker can be found under the grey flap on the front of your breaker box. In the event that you check your breaker and it is DOWN and in the OFF position, all you may have to do in order to restore power is turn the breaker back into the ON position by flipping it UP. If you have checked your breaker and it is in
