PPO September 1, 2017

On Friday September 1, 2017 there will be a planned power outage (PPO). This PPO will affect approximately 3 Members between 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM within sections 13, 23 & 24 of 58-04.

Vegetation Management

If you have any questions or if you see vegetation close to an overhead power line, please help us by calling our office @ 780-349-3655 during regular business hours or, the 24 Hour Emergency Call Center @ 1-877-749-3655 with the land location and details of the problem area along with contact information where you can be reached. With safety in mind, under no circumstances should you try to remove the vegetation yourself.

High Loads

If the total height of your load on an unpaved road exceeds 4.2 meters, or 5.3 meters on a numbered highway or paved road, it is considered a high load. Please contact Wild Rose REA Ltd. to arrange the escort of the load through a planned route within the REA service area. Wild Rose REA Ltd. requires a minimum of 5 working days notice to schedule a high load.

Energy Saving Tips

Energy- saving LED light bulbs can last up to 25 times longer than a normal bulb and use up to 75% less energy. So when you replace your traditional incandescent bulbs with the energy-savers, you will pay less to get the same amount of light! Opening the drapes on sunny winter days will let in "free" light and heat! Installing motion sensors or timers on external lights can cut down on energy costs!
