Emergency Tips- If equipment or vehicle has contacted a power line: Operators: Stay in the equipment or vehicle. If the equipment or vehicle is still running and it's safe to do so, move it out of contact with the power line and at least 10 metres away, then park/shut down. If the equipment or vehicle is immobilized, remain inside and instruct others to stay back at least 10 metres. Workers in other equipment or vehicles or on the ground should stay 10 metres away from the incident site. Call Emergency Services (911) and the REA for assistance (1-877-749-3655). PPO January 26, 2017

On Thursday January 26 2017 between approximately 1:00 PM and 1:45 PM there will be a Planned Power Outage (PPO). This PPO will affect approximately 17 Members east of Westlock within the LSD's of 59-25 & 59-26.

Energy Saving Tips

Energy- saving LED light bulbs can last up to 25 times longer than a normal bulb and use up to 75% less energy. So when you replace your traditional incandescent bulbs with the energy-savers, you will pay less to get the same amount of light! Opening the drapes on sunny days will let in "free" light and heat! Installing motion sensors or timers on external lights can cut down on energy costs!

December's statements have been mailed and emailed. Current charges are due by the 20th of each month to avoid penalty. Please allow sufficient time for your payment to reach our office.

2017 Distribution Tariff

Wild Rose REA is pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2017 the Wild Rose REA distribution tariff will decrease by 1%.
